This EP is the first release by Bay Area producer GAHR, since his full-length debut, "Mixed Signals" dropped in 2015.

From GAHR:
The five tracks on this album really coalesced around the title track, which I started in late 2017. And while it took almost two years to finish, I knew the sound of this track would be the sonic basis of the project. The layered synths, dark melodic bass lines and arpeggios build to a tense, unsustainable crescendo before dissolving into a rolling 4/4 release.

The other four tracks developed out of that sound and came together pretty quickly over the past five months.

For me, this album is a reflection of our times. At once dark, surreal, overwhelming, and melancholic and, yet, somehow hopeful. It's an attempt to come to grips with the absurdity of the human condition; the sorrow and pain that comes with the understanding that everyone you know and love will all, at some point, cease to physically exist on this planet, in this conscious dimension. You know, just a little light listening!
